In 2018 alone, millions of homes around the world were lost due to flooding; and things might not be looking up just yet.

 

Inspired by floating markets all around Asia, The Overflow Project believes “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.

​

We want to empower survivors in areas that experience frequent flooding who have lost their homes to these floods with low cost innovative houseboats.

 

The overflow that was meant to kill them now forms the foundation to their new homes.
